I’ve been seeing Barbara for literally decades. She’s always mellow and soft-spoken which is a terrific change from the work I do. I’ve tipped her, over-tipped her, given her gifts, etc. out of appreciation. Yet lately she cancels often, sometimes five minutes before an appointment. I don’t know what’s gone wrong, but now I won’t risk booking more than fifteen minutes with her and I typically book with someone else if I have a serious question. She had such a good thing going; it’s a shame she just isn’t taking things seriously anymore.
